- BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir: First tradition Hindu Mandir of its kind in North America, located in Stafford. Its wondrous design may bring you to a state of both calm and wonder. It was constructed in India of 33,000 pieces of Italian marble and Turkish limestone that was carved by hand. It was then shipped to Houston, where it was assembled in 16 months.
